Modified SHoes for osteoARthritis of the Knee (SHARK study): a randomized controlled trial
The Centre for Health, Exercise and Sports Medicine (CHESM) at the Department of Physiotherapy, University of Melbourne has developed a modified shoe to help people who have knee joint osteoarthritis.
We are currently recruiting volunteers who suffer from knee pain to take part in a trial aimed at evaluating this shoe.
Participants will be aged over 50 years, have knee pain on most days, and need to be able to attend the University of Melbourne in Carlton for an assessment of their walking and to receive a pair of shoes.
